We were formed in 1977 by a group of 7 people who had a vision of creating a new District Association with boundaries from Totton to Calshot along the edge of Southampton water along the coast to the Dorset boundary following this to its junction with the Wiltshire boundary, then following the Wiltshire boundary to its junction with the A27 through Romsey to Totton.
